We are seeking a highly qualified Design Engineering Manager to join our team at our Lenexa, KS location. As a leader in environmental engineering, we are dedicated to protecting water and people through innovative solutions in wastewater management.

Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day management of the design engineering group, focusing on new product ideas and conceptual design
• Oversee and participate in the development of mechanical, hydraulic, power transfer, and structural designs, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives
• Collaborate with other departments to establish scopes for new designs and address existing design concerns
• Assist in the development of standard systems and products, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes
• Write and/or revise maintenance manuals and product instructions to support product designs
• Provide support for Manufacturing, Sales, Field Service, and other departments within the Company

Basic Hiring Criteria:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a technical Design Engineering Group
• Periodic travel required (15 to 25%)

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in product development and manufacturing systems
• Proficiency in Inventor/AutoCAD/SolidWorks
• Strong communication skills and ability to present professionally
• Knowledge of CFD, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and MathCAD is a plus
