Job Opportunity: Material Handler - Honeywell Aerospace (El Paso, Texas)

Description: Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in El Paso, Texas. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling materials within our warehouse or storage facility. This position offers a pay rate of $12.50 per hour with opportunities for overtime $18.75/OT during the week and on Saturdays.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Requirements:

• Electrical assembly experience and mechanical ability with assembly experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of standup forklift experience.

• Some knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other handling equipment.

• Move materials to and from aircraft, trucks, trains, and within the storage facility.

• Follow instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors or managers.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Perform assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2 years of experience in material handling or a related field.

• Knowledge of commonly-used practices and procedures within the aerospace industry.

• Ability to work under immediate supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.

Special Considerations:

• Ability to lift items exceeding 30 lbs., and/or perform significant repetitions of lifting lesser weights.

• Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological, or other physical risks may be anticipated.
